Excavating Basements

Excavating Basements

The Coveya team is lucky enough to work with some great customers across a range of sectors but basement excavation projects remain close to our heart and over the past three years, we’ve been involved in over 500 projects with 90% plus of them being in London.

What’s really interesting about a lot of these projects is that we are supplying conveyors to help to overcome very specific hurdles.

Our conveyors come into their own when there is limited access especially to Heritage-listed facades or where excavation material needs to be moved to muck away lorries & skips with steep inclines in the mix (without one of our conveyors this would have to be either bagged and carried out by hand or craned out using a tipping skip which is a more expensive solution).

With so many basement excavation projects in the capital, it’s no wonder that our conveyors have been part of some high-profile projects. From The Royal College of Music, to Battersea Power Station, The Old War Office and Claridges where our Easikit 450 and Easikit 600 conveyors were on hire for two year’s and helped to excavate the basement of this world-famous hotel to accommodate two new floors, Coveya conveyors have played an important part in the improvement of historic sites.

However, our basement excavation ‘bread and butter’ are domestic basement projects where properties are being expanded and transformed especially when we are working within a constrained site with limited access, where materials need to be moved safely and efficiently.

So, if you are a contractor, sub-contractor or anyone else looking for a safe and cost-effective (we can help you to reduce labour costs) modular conveyor solution to support a basement excavation project, whether it be as straight forward as they come or slightly more complex, we have the right solution for you.

We offer free on-site visits so we can find out more about the project and advise you on which conveyor is best.  Your site doesn’t have to be in London……where here to help wherever your basement maybe.
